The release date of the operation is definitely unknown. Datamainers constantly find hints about its imminent release, relying on hidden content in the game files and increased activity of developers. Many fans were expecting it by June 19 – the day when the first version of Counter-Strike was released. But it didn’t happen.
Perhaps the new operation will be released in CS 2 before July 17, 2024. The cybersports scene is going on a summer break, so all players’ attention will be focused on the content that has appeared. If this does not happen, then the operation should be expected by September 27, when the birthday of CS 2 will be held.

29 August 2024Honestly, it feels like we’ve been waiting forever for this operation! I hope Valve introduces some new, exciting features or maps to make up for the long wait. I think the delay is because they want to get everything perfect for us players, but at the same time, it’s hard not to get impatient. I really hope they release it around the CS 2 anniversary; that would be an epic celebration! 🎉
