A data miner known as Thour tested the new Steam feature that allows for gameplay recording in CS2. He shared his findings on his social media page on X.
According to Thour’s post, without recording, the game ran at 372 FPS on his computer. When the recording feature was activated, the frames per second dropped to 350. This means that the FPS decreased by about 6%. The data miner noted that, in his opinion, the recording is worth it because it allows users to save videos of the last two hours of gameplay in high quality.
