Valve is not planning to bring the Danger Zone mode to Counter-Strike 2. This was reported by English commentator Neo “Ne0kai” Cain on X, citing his own source.
“I have reliable information that Danger Zone will not return to CS2 in the foreseeable future. The player count wasn’t high enough for Valve to continue working on it.”

Ne0kai also mentioned that the developers are likely working on another mode to replace Danger Zone. However, he clarified that he is not sure about the accuracy of this information.
The Danger Zone update for CS
was released in 2018. The game switched to a free-to-play model, and the new battle royale-style mode was introduced. With the release of CS2 in September 2023, Danger Zone was removed from the game.
