Valve has released a patch for CS2 that addresses several bugs. The developers have also improved the algorithm for activating voice chat, so users will no longer experience lag.
Changelog:
- Fixed an issue where weapon animations would play incorrectly when inspecting during a reload.
- Resolved most lag issues caused by in-game voice chat.
- Improved the function for activating voice chat with a key — eliminated lag that occurred when using the voice chat function for the first time.
- Enhanced connection quality during packet loss or other issues by automatically adjusting the user’s command send rate to ensure they reach the server earlier.
- Improved the readability of teammates’ health indicators at low resolutions.
Previously, Valve released a patch that added the ability to equip the Bowie knife in the left hand.
