Tthe developers released a patch for Counter-Strike 2 with which they updated the maps Mills and Pool Day, as well as fixed several bugs. Information about it was published on the game’s page in the Steam store.
List of innovations:
- Updated Mills and Pool Day maps to the latest versions from the Steam Workshop.
- Slowing down on taking damage a bit later to reduce the number of teleportation instances. This will result in a smoother game, however players will take a little longer to reach full speed when taking damage. The delay can be adjusted on servers using the sv_predictable_damage_tag_ticks command (default 2).
- Fixed a case where players could trigger bomb placement animations outside of bomb placement locations.
- Fixed a case where the revolver drum was spinning erroneously.
- Reduced the initial loading time of the Settings and Play menus.
The last update was released on August 9. With it, Mills and Assembly maps were updated in CS2, and the readability of damage dealt and received was improved.
