Valve has released a major update for Counter-Strike 2. Information about it was published on the official website of the shooter. The size of the patch amounted to about 3 GB.
List of changes:
- Office: fixed the case when the player could get stuck between the support and the ceiling.
- Nuke: removed the boost on fake vent; fixed some places where C4 was getting stuck.
- Mirage: increased the area to be found by the van; eliminated the possibility of shooting through arches with AWP; fixed a problem with camera shake when jumping on a crate near the “carpets”; fixed a bug where a smoke grenade could get stuck in the texture and work; corrected collision; fixed some places where C4 could get stuck.
- Inferno: fixed some places where C4 could get stuck and removed the boost point in the pit on A.
- Italy: improved performance and clipping adjustments.
- Vertigo: improved clipping.
- Ancient: fixed bug that caused player model on B to be visible through a gap; fixed collision on T-spawn.
- Anubis: fixed places where C4 could get stuck; fixed some texture collisions that could visually hide C4; fixed some lighting issues.
- Overpass: fixed some minor visual bugs near the “Monster”; corrected clipping near the park for smoother movement; added missing railing collisions.

29 August 2024Lots of good clipping fixes in this update! 🎯 Glad to see Valve addressing issues like getting stuck on Office and Nuke. The changes to Mirage and Inferno are also very welcome.
