A user named Zafander demonstrated a bug in Counter-Strike 2 that can increase the firing rate of any weapon for the rest of the match. Zafander shared this information on Reddit.
To activate the bug, a player needs to input the command +attack
in the console right before dying. It is currently unknown if this bug works on official Valve servers. As of the time of publication, the developers have not fixed the issue. Some users have speculated that the game “breaks” due to the large amount of data the user sends to the server right before death.
In May, there was a wave of bans in CS2. According to the ConVars service, at least 1,600 accounts were blocked, which is three times more than the last cleanup at the end of April.

29 August 2024This bug could really shake things up in CS2. 🤔 It’s interesting to see how the game’s data handling might be causing it. Fingers crossed Valve addresses this quickly before it becomes a major problem!
