Map designer Shawn “FMPONE” Snelling has released a screenshot of the updated version of Cache in CS2. The screenshot shows Bombsite B in a new style — notably without the graffiti commemorating Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev’s highlight play. The developer posted the image on the social network X.

FMPONE also included a link to his own Discord channel with the screenshot. Judging by the name “Secret Testers,” this channel allows users to join the testing phase for the developer’s maps. In one of the messages, it was mentioned that the release of Cache in CS2 is planned for 2025 — currently, only Bombsite A, the mid area, and most of Bombsite B are ready.

Previously, Snelling has frequently shared various materials related to the updated version of the map, including snippets showing the central area of the location and Bombsite A.

Exciting to see Cache getting a fresh update! 🎉 The removal of the s1mple graffiti might be controversial, but it’s great to see the map evolving. Looking forward to exploring the new version when it’s released. Thanks for sharing, FMPONE!
